Calais Fire-EMS responded to a mobile home fire on Thursday, Nov. 14th, at 39 Baring Street.  The property is owned by Eric Clark, of Windham, and managed by Peggy and Terry Brownlee.

According to Fire Chief Ken Clark, the call for the fire was received at around 11:30 a.m.  He said no one lived in the trailer; however, it was used for “sewing crafts and woodworking.”

Chief Clark said, “There was damage to [the Brownlee’s] equipment and the building is a total loss.”
