The Robbinston Historical Society will host its 6th Annual Robbinston Days celebration this Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Robbinston Community Center (the former elementary school), located at 904 U.S. Route 1.

This year's event will celebrate both America's 250th anniversary and Robbinston's 215th birthday, with a full day of activities for all ages.

The festivities begin at 10 a.m. with an ATV parade traveling from Brewer Road along Route 1 to the community center. Prizes will be awarded to the three best-decorated ATVs.

At 10:30 a.m., visitors can enjoy a Touch-a-Truck display, offering children and adults an up-close look at a variety of vehicles.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the historical society will serve free hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings while supplies last.

Live entertainment throughout the day will feature Keltic Schmeltic at 11 a.m., Patrick Cormier at noon, and The Pink Capos at 1 p.m.

A new addition to this year's celebration will take place at noon, when everyone attending will be invited to gather for a community group photo, captured from above by Laurie Churchill using a drone.

Returning favorites include a bounce house, children's games, cornhole, Robbinston history displays, a bake sale featuring fresh homemade goods, Robbinston shirts and hats for sale, and a 50/50 drawing.

Organizers invite residents and visitors alike to come celebrate with friends and neighbors. The event will be held rain or shine.
