As spring arrives and the days grow longer, residents across Calais have the perfect opportunity to declutter, refresh, and earn a little extra cash. The annual community-wide yard sale takes place on Saturday, April 25, turning the entire community into a bargain hunter’s paradise.
Organized by the Calais Lioness Club, the event encourages residents to set up sales in their own driveways and yards, creating a network of mini-markets filled with unique finds. This marks the third year the Lioness Club has promoted home-based sales, rather than hosting a centralized event.
The yard sale is more than just a chance to clear out clutter–it’s a day of community connection and fun. Shoppers and sellers alike are invited to explore the neighborhoods, hunt for bargains, and enjoy the lively spring atmosphere.
