Saturday was the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Princeton Parks & Recreation, along with the Princeton Fire Department. Despite it being  a cold, windy day, children and their parents started arriving around 2:00 p.m. Our Easter Bunny–student volunteer Harlow Crowe, who was so loved last year, so was the first pick for this year–was front and center to greet everyone. New posters by the O’Loughlin family guided everyone to the front tables.

The children were given a container and were instructed to find ten eggs of one color. Upon bringing back their eggs, the children were rewarded with a special prize bag of toys and candy. Also included was a ticket for a free drawing for a Lego set. There was a choice of three sets. The drawing for the Lego sets was held at the end of the event. The winners were Rhylee Meeker, Ravennah Lola, and Brayden Bassett.

Every event needs goodies and members and volunteers made a variety of cupcakes which were served with apple juice, Hawaiian Punch, and coffee for adults.

A thank you goes out to our Parks & Recreation members Amanda Diffin, Brianna Wheaton, the O’Loughlin Family, Desiree Tyrell, Ian Clements, and Bernie and Becky Hussey who helped. Also, Tracy McIntosh, who donated the Legos, and as always our partner, the Princeton Fire Department members Jaycie and Curtis Allen and John for making the building egg hunt ready and helping with clean up.
