‘Summer Breeze’ Sails Away to a Jonesboro Junkyard
Neighbors helping neighbors is a traditional way of life in Maine’s small fishing communities like Machiasport. Cooke Aquaculture in Machiasport’s Bucks Harbor district allowed the use of their giant barge to basically push the sailboat from a temporary mooring that Cooke also provided in the harbor onto a beach used by the town’s commercial fishermen, off Pettegrow Point Road.
