Calais City Council held a special organizational meeting last Thursday, November 10, 2022, where new Mayor Arthur Mingo took his oath to office.

Mingo captured 745 of the mayoral votes at the municipal election held on November 8.  Billy Howard, who served the last two terms as the city’s mayor, received 327 votes, while newcomer Bryan Stevens took 144.
