The local event of the MLB Jr. Home Run Derby was held in Calais last Sunday.  

Winners in the 12U division were Daniel Gardner of East Machias, and Colby Moholland of Robbinston.  Winners in the 14U division were Maxwell Bottenfield of Pittsfield, and Lucas Cates of Cutler.
