Since its inception in 1947, the Voice of Democracy has served as the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ (VFW) premier scholarship program. This competition invites students to showcase their thoughts on an annual patriotic theme through written and recorded audio essays. For this year, participants reflected on the theme, “Is America Today Our Forefathers’ Vision?”
