Elections have Consequences- Barack Obama

The House Republican majority is slim and potentially fragile. The surest way to assure that it will not last long is to heed the advice of Democrats and moderates and not respond to the ruthless partisan hackery of the past 4 years in kind. To do otherwise will assure that Democrats will repeat the behavior in the future. The GOP House majority should:
• Respond to the Democrats stripping committee assignments from  Marjory Taylor Greene and others by doing exactly the same to:
-Ilhan Omar (Foreign Affairs), for anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism;
-Eric Swalwell (Intelligence), for serial lying and sleeping with a Chinese spy;
-Adam (Bull) Schiff (Oversight), for serial lying
• Reconstitute the Jan. 6 Committee with Republicans and Democrats chosen by the new Speaker with the express charge of finding out why Speaker Pelosi refused to protect the Capitol Grounds and how many undercover FBI agents and informers were dressed as Trump supporters and incited “insurrection”.
• Institute impeachment investigations and procedures for gross failure to faithfully execute the law, support and defend the Constitution and numerous other high crimes and misdemeanors for the following:
-Attorney General Merrick Garland (Parents are domestic terrorists, Mar-a-Largo raid)
-Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas (Open Southern Border)
-FBI Director Wray (Lying to Congress)
-Transportation Secretary Buttigieg (Supply Chain, Abuse of Parental Leave)
-Energy Secretary Granholm (Climate Alarmism, Willful Destruction of American Energy Independence)
-Vice-President Harris (Border czar, cackling, declared alliance with North Korea)
-President Biden (Afghanistan, Open Southern Border, Climate Alarmism,                                                                                           Head of Biden Crime Family, Willful Destruction of American Energy Independence)

• Insist that any additional aid to the corrupt and authoritarian Ukrainian Government be accompanied by audits of where the previous hundred billion went. If the Biden administration insists that we must risk nuclear war in Europe, at least tie that aid to support of a real democracy in Taiwan.  If the head of the Biden crime family is unwilling to challenge his Chinese paymasters, at least make that unwillingness transparent.
• Pass legislation protecting the First and Second Amendments and make the Democratic Senate refuse to do so.
• Pass legislation outlawing “Gender affirming” surgery on minors and make the Democratic Senate refuse to do so.
• Pass legislation outlawing grooming and critical race theory in public schools and make the Democratic Senate refuse to do so.
• Pass legislation declaring the National Education Association a clear and present danger and make the Democratic Senate refuse to do so.
• Pass legislation requiring any entity receiving federal funds to embrace color blind policies and stop the systemic racist practice of affirmative action and the promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion and make the Democratic Senate refuse to do so.
• Vote to award Elon Musk the Congressional Medal of Honor, and create a new Congressional Medal of Dishonor for Meta master Mark Zuckerberg.

I am pretty sure that the House Republicans will do the first thing on this list and nothing else. The Republic is in steep decline, and nothing in Washington is likely to save it.
